I said I wasn’t going to start research until we heard from the Arts Council but David, bless him, is just a little ball of excitement and thrust some graphic novels under my nose, so I have started.
I’ve finished volumes 1 and 2 of Akira now. And just wow.
It’s weird. I think I’m an idiot….
The application has gone. It’s off. We wait.
In other news. I started Akira last night.
200 pages in 45 minutes. Such a fast story. Amazing. So good. Engaging, thrilling, beautiful.
Hooked.
Will finish it tomorrow for sure.

Tomorrow our application for funding goes off to the Arts Council. We are pretty confident in it, David and myself, well as confident as one can be.
Even if it’s a no, we have now created an atmosphere and structure to the project that we can move forward regardless. We will know in about 6…
