Today, -in-between attempts to NOT find out the football results until tonights Match of The Day (partly failed!!)- I have been working on a new poster for the band Rue Royale.

I love drawing for these guys and I’m really getting a good rhythm of how to draw the familiar characters that have cropped up in all 6 of the designs I have completed for the band so far.

A very loose narrative runs through these images and I have recently been talking to the band about a few ideas that may involve telling a story with these guys.

Anyway, thats for another day…..

Going through all of the old sketches for these Rue Royale commissions I found one of the original drawings for the ‘Ruth’ character from the last design I did for them (the one with the Underwater House). I really liked this drawing and thought I would share it here. So here she is…..

Right, back to working on the new poster….. (I want to finish it before MOTD).
