TRYING TO DRAW THE PERFECT GIANT
I have had this idea for a book about a giant for a while now. One of the things holding me back is getting the giant right (or the right giant!!). On occasion I will sketch through a number of options but I have never been able to find that character and it was very frustrating indeed.
However, last night, during a bedtime sketching session, I think I may have made a breakthrough…..
They are really subtle differences but I I really like the expression of the giant second from left. Mix this with the torso of the middle giant and the add the legs of the far right giant and then (I think) I will have my definitive Giant. Whoop.
(It is also important that the giants shoulder line be just above his cranium).
successful evening. x
